What You Will Be Doing

As Website Manager, you will take full ownership of our portfolio of websites, driving their performance, usability, and growth. You’ll develop and execute a data-driven strategy that enhances user experience, increases lead generation, and supports our exciting business growth plans. Working closely with marketing, sales, product, and external partners, you will ensure our websites effectively showcase our brands and offerings to schools, colleges, parents, and students.

This is an exciting new role and an excellent opportunity for a skilled website professional ready to step into a managerial role, taking full ownership of our digital presence and shaping the future of our online channels.

Key Responsibilities

Website Strategy & Performance

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of all websites and develop a clear 3-year roadmap for improvements, updates, or rebuilds
  • Use data insights and A/B testing to optimise onsite content, merchandising, and conversion rates
  • Drive increased lead generation and onsite engagement, supporting marketing paid channels and optimising spend

Content & Merchandising Management

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure timely product launches and consistent brand messaging
  • Own and implement an onsite merchandising plan that supports storytelling and commercial objectives

Technical & Operational Management

  • Manage and maintain multiple websites, ensuring they are fully functional, secure, and user-friendly
  • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly, working with external agencies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and website security best practices

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics, Tag Manager, DeBugBear, and other tools
  • Prepare regular performance reports and share insights with stakeholders to inform decision-making
  • Lead test-and-learn initiatives to continuously improve user experience and business outcomes, developing and implementing a clear CRO strategy

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets effectively
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing, Brand & Content Manager, and Performance Marketing Manager to align website strategy with overall brand and marketing goals

What We Are Looking For

Strategic & Analytical Mindset

  • Ability to develop and execute data-driven website strategies that align with business goals
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting web and campaign data

Website & Digital Marketing Expertise

  • Hands-on experience managing and optimising websites (WordPress experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, and digital marketing tools
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation, and performance tracking

Collaboration & Communication

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies
  • Ability to clearly articulate strategies and results to various stakeholders

Technical & Project Management Skills

  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and managing website security
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
