What you’ll be doing
Working closely with Austria Overseas Operations, UK Operations & UK Administration teams, you will be assisting with the effective delivery of a variety of tasks. These will include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with loading group information onto our Travelink booking system
- Verify that bookings are updated with all amendments to help ensure margins are accurate
- Assist the overseas operations team in making reservations of evening entertainments with particular ski focus in Austria. (SKI)
- Drafting, booking and creating final itineraries for Educational Tours, liaising with the customers to ensure trip satisfaction (Travelbound)
- Help check and prepare documents for groups including booking confirmations, Atol certificates and travel itineraries & send it a timely manner
- Assist with the accurate loading of names lists as required
- Setting up appropriate payment forms from supplier invoices
- Monitor credit control on bookings, ensuring balance payments are made on time
- Be available for overseas travel as required
- Assist with any other tasks across the administration and operations team as required
What we are looking for
- Proven administration, communicational & logistics experience
- Proven experience in both MS Word and Excel
- An understanding and interest in educational travel
- Experience in dealing with invoicing and payments
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commercial awareness and strong numeracy ability
- Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
- Accurate and enthusiastic approach
- Flexible approach to assist in all areas of business as required
- Knowledge of German language is preferable but is not essential
