The Role: Night Security

As a Night Security person, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff while they sleep.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week from 10pm to 8am on Monday to Thursday nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the CCTV, regular patrols and keeping record of any situations that arise.
• Effective control of the centre entrances.
• Monitoring staff and guest behaviour, swiftly resolving any situations that may cause a disturbance.
• Following due diligence procedures.
• Providing customer service, dealing with guest queries or complaints.
• Being a key-holder and securing the centre as required.
• Reporting staff sickness.
• Dealing with minor maintenance issues & cleaning of communal guest areas.
• Taking the initial lead in managing any emergency procedures during the night.
• Completing tasks that contribute towards the presentation of the centre.
• Holding the out of hours centre emergency phone.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in an overnight role, or comfortable with working a night role
• Strong work ethic
• Basic Maintenance Skills
• Excellent communication & customer service skills

• Someone who has or is willing to complete a first aid qualification.
